甚麼是柔韌性?

What is the first thing you think of when you heard about the terms of “Flexibility”? You may think of Yoga or female because normally female seems to have a better stretching than male.

 

But actually for both gender, a good flexibility helps prevent injury from training and daily life. According to the U.S. Surgeon General's report on physical activity and health, flexibility is defined as " a health-related component of physical fitness that relates to the range of motion available at a joint." But how can this related to our daily life?

當您聽到“柔韌性”這個詞語時,您想到的第一件事會是甚麼呢?


您可能會想到瑜伽或女性,因為通常女性似乎比男性具有更好的柔韌性。但實際上,無論男女,良好的柔韌性都有助於防止訓練和日常生活中的傷害。


根據美國外科醫生關於身體活動和健康的報告,柔韌性被定義為“與身體健康有關,亦是關節活動範圍有關的部分”。但是,這與我們的日常生活有什麼關係?

For people who don’t have enough range of stretching may result in compensation, for example, people who have insufficient motion range of hip may compensates the low back during lifting. Therefore, having a sufficient motion range is essential for general public.

對於沒有足夠伸展範圍的人可能會導致補償,例如,臀部運動範圍不足的人可能會在抬起時補償地使用下背。因此,具有足夠的運動範圍對於所有運動人仕來說是必不可少的。
